Asbestos is highly harmful and can cause drastic consequences to the health of those who disturb or damage the substance. Looking back to previous cases, exposure to airborne asbestos fibres remains the sole major cause of the cause of deaths of workers in the UK. Hence, all workers who are probably involved with asbestos or asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) should undergo appropriate training for safe working.

This course ensures delivering an essential introduction to the dangers related to working with asbestos. Participants of this training will have the skills and knowledge to stay in compliance with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 (CAR 2012).  You must have the right understanding of what asbestos is, the potential impacts related to exposure to asbestos and what are actions to take if you find asbestos.
